Cleaning operative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised as required.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling according to company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact with clients and staff in a courteous manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
